You can configure Cevelop to automatically save the unsaved files before building the project: Window Menu -> Preferences -> General -> Workspace -> Save automatically before build

To install DevStyle you currently need to add
http://download.eclipse.org/releases/photon as an update site to Cevelop under
Windows -> Preferences -> Install/Update -> Available Software Sites -> Add.... After that you can then install DevStyle through the marketplace.
Up to release 1.8.0 Cevelop has been built and tested for Java 8. There seems to be an Eclipse related issue with Java 9, that might cause startup issues. A known workarount is adding the following line to the
cevelop.ini file, after the
